Just a word of thanks for coming into our business to assist with our ongoing behavioural safety programme. Your passion to prevent someone else from suffering an injury in the workplace clearly comes through with your honest account of the events that led up to your accident right through to the work you are doing today. I am sure that all of our staff and subcontractors who attended will use the messages from your presentation and turn them into a positive action making our construction sites an even safer place to work.

I think everyone in that room yesterday was touched by Dylan's story - hopefully it has made people think differently about the choices they make on site regarding their approach to H&S.

Just a quick word to say thank you for today’s presentation. I thought that your delivery of your unfortunate accident was excellent. As I was looking at the faces of our sub contractors during your talk I am sure it was being considered, especially the aftermath and the financial hardship that follows. If only one person listens to the voices in their head and it prevents a lifetime of pain and misery it will be worth it. Unfortunately in your new role you will never know how many have avoided such an accident, however the more experienced members of the construction industry you present to will know instantly. I am sure we will see you again in the future.

Following your attendance and three presentations at our Walthamstow project last month, brief note of sincere thanks for your very open, informative and passionate delivery. Whilst your life has been turned upside down as consequence of your regrettable incident, your ability and determination to share this experience and prevent others from ‘falling’ into a similar position is commendable. I know you will continue to share your message. As we discussed, if you can alter the course of one individuals approach to safely working on site, a real benefit will be derived. You will appreciate our project in Walthamstow is on a tight footprint with over 500 dwellings and working at height plus traffic management are fundamental operations to daily safe activities. The explanation you provided I believe will enable our work force to consider their wellbeing first. As you stated on the day, ‘they have a gift you did not’.
